| A30 to Stockbridge, A33 from Winchester |

This is an enjoyable drive with the majority of traffic travelling on the A303 and M3 leaving both of these roads reasonably quiet, especially during the week. From Basingstoke take the M3 South and take the A303 at Junction 8. Click here for more

Across Salisbury Plain Drive

From Basingstoke take the M3 South and take the A303 at Junction 8. Follow the A303 down past Andover, through Thruxton with the race track on the right, continuing to the round-about at Amesbury going straight over. Proceed up the hill and down the other side, you will see Stone Henge in front of you, take the right hand turning beside Stone Henge (A344) some 40 minutes from Basingstoke. Click here for more

Go around the Ringway in Basingstoke until you reach the A339 sign posted Alton, on the outskirts of Alton take a right at the junction to follow the A339, further on go under railway bridge and take 2nd exit at mini round-about. Click here for more
